Pilatus PC24

Gattaca Projects completed structural analysis and certification reporting for Pilatus Aircraft on the PC24 airframe. We won repeat business over four years and continue to support this prestigious programme.

Project Tasks

Analysis methods are agreed prior to working with Client and CVE. All Gattaca certification reporting is presented to Customer CVE for approval of aircraft structure.


Aircraft Seat Projects

Gattaca was engaged with undertaking design and development solutions for a lightweight aircraft seat for commercial airlines. Initially tasked with optimising an existing design to meet the customers specifications whilst also offering further manufacturing and assembly savings. Following a preliminary design review, Gattaca was tasked with supporting further enhancements to the seat project and undertook significant design and analysis work to meet customer and EASA requirements.

Reviewing current designs and suggesting improvements

Conceptual design improvements to primary structure through to detailed design and production of manufacturing drawings

Hand calculations, linear and non-linear FEA to support design improvements and support to customer test simulations

Generation of solutions to in-service failures

Project management of design element including production of master schedule, liaison with manufacturers, DOA, and sales teams
