Firstly, thank you for choosing me to support you in finding a new role and congratulations on securing your interview!
Ok, this is where the fun starts! I have worked with loads of candidates to get them prepared for interviews - this is one of the best parts of my job! If we have not already arranged this, let’s book in some time to meet over Teams so I can personally run through everything in this document with you.
This will be a chance for us to go over the format of the meeting, as well as a behind-the-scenes tour of the personalities you will be meeting, the do’s and don’ts and ultimately, how sell yourself in a natural way.
I appreciate that the thought of an interview can be daunting. But don’t worry I am here to coach you through that. In my 20 years' experience, the post-interview feedback has always been positive.
Best,
Oli

This is your moment to shine.
The most important thing for you to remember is that an interview is your a sales pitch- this is where you market your skills. Your main goal is to read the employer’s buying signals and market yourself accordingly.
Decide on the key messages that you want to convey and draft interesting and concise ‘stories’ around them.
Have confidence - remember that you have been selected out of other applicants to reach this stage - the interviewer wants to buy you!
On the flip-side, don’t oversell – exaggeration or embellishment is generally uncovered.
