Fundraising

FY23 Events

FY23 was a year in which we were able to get our teams back together and resume our fundraising efforts.

Our key charity highlight was the Snowdon climb in April 2023, where over 40 of our colleagues scaled the Welsh mountain, raising £7,800 for our charity partner, Foothold.

We also continued to support other charities through corporate and localised fundraising activities, such as a bake sale for Macmillan Cancer Support, and a Christmas 'Giving Tree' gift initiative for Southampton Hospital’s PICU (paediatric intensive care unit).

Planned Events for FY24

We have an exciting calendar of events planned for fundraising in FY24, including:

  • Southsea beach clean-up volunteering day
  • The Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge
  • The Great South Run and Great South Run Kids
  • The Brighton Marathon

We will also increase the promotion of our corporate volunteering scheme, within which we reimburse half the holiday allowance taken for volunteering, up to 5 days p/a.
